As we begin a new year of ministry in Haiti, we want to acknowledge those who helped us finish out the previous year with enough resources to guarantee future progress. We’d like to give a huge thanks to those of you who contributed to Friends for Health in Haiti’s annual year-end appeal as well as those who have donated to us throughout the year. Your faithfulness and generosity to our ministry and mission are greatly appreciated.

News from the capital city of Port-au-Prince continues to be quite miserable with political instability and gang violence unabated. But, since Jérémie, where we live and work, is located quite far from Port-au-Prince, we are not directly impacted by the violence and we’ve been able to continue to serve rural Haitians with our clinic and community development programs. In this newsletter, we’ll introduce you to some of our new staff members and tell you about a very extensive survey we did to evaluate our Water and Sanitation Program. We count it a privilege to serve the Lord here in Haiti and we’re grateful for the support and encouragement you, our donors, give to us. May you feel blessed to be a part of our efforts to improve health and change lives in Haiti!
